WEEKLY Bible Study
every Friday afternoon at 2:30
at the Washington County Jail
(for Inmates)

Needed: more Volunteers for Jail Ministry, Mentoring, and Pen Pal Program

This ministry launches women into one of the most exciting, rewarding, and challenging adventures possible. When an Aglow woman involves herself as a team member in prison ministry, she is joining first with God, the Master Builder of people’s lives, in a project close to His heart -- the restoration of women.

In prison ministry, Aglow women become vehicles of life-changing power to those who are incarcerated. The purpose and call is to provide comfort, support, and offer acceptance and hope to those who are struggling with life's circumstances. Prison ministry teams do this primarily by taking the opportunity to share the life-changing message of Christ's saving love.

Since motive determines the value of the ministry, a potential prison ministry team member must be certain her highest desire is to serve. Just as Christ washed the feet of His disciples, so all who function in prison ministry must have dedicated servants’ hearts.

Prison Aglow meeting on the first Tuesday of each month. Contact Judy for directions and information.

We will not have our regular Jackson Aglow Meeting July 20th. Instead we will be having a Picnic at Karen & David's Marina by her house. The Address is 4632 Lakeview Circle, Slinger WI 53086: so you can map search for the directions.

We are to come straight in and park by the Marina which is on the left had side of the road! Bring yourself, children or grandchildren and bring a picnic lunch for yourselves  and your children and grandchildren and have some fun! Karen will supply Gator Aide, paper cups, paper plates and napkins.

Bring swimsuits, towels, sand toys, life preservers for little kids. David is planning to take the children for a boat ride and they must have life preservers for the boat ride!

They have a volley ball net and baseball diamond. So bring your baseball mitts and a ball for an activity for the children,

Coming Up!~  the DVD " 23 Minutes in Hell"  by Bill Wiese

Bill Wiese saw the searing flames of hell, felt total isolation, and experienced the putrid and rotting stench, deafening screams of agony, terrorizing demons, and finally, the strong hand of God lifting him out of the pit.  Wiese’s visit to the devil’s lair lasted just twenty-three minutes, but he returned with vivid details etched in his memory. Since this life-changing ordeal, he has spent the last seven years studying the Scriptures to find answers.  Look for date and time TBA!

Coming up! ~ Kelly Webb (our former President of "Restored Trees of Righteousness" Lighthouse)  is a Prevention Educator with  ASTOP, Inc. (Assist, Survivor, Treatment, Outreach, Prevention)  in Fond du Lac, and their message is to "put ASTOP to sexual assault!"  And she may also talk about sex trafficking... and how it is happening right here in America. Meetings details to be announced.
