SPRING RETREAT
GREEN LAKE CONFERENCE CENTER
Green Lake, WISCONSIN
“The Ark of His Presence”
RETREAT SPEAKER
CHRISTINA BOURNE
Now 26, Christina is the second eldest of 8 children. At the tender age of seven she gave her life to the Lord, along with her entire family.
It is Christina’s desire to see the Body of Christ walking in true holiness and the fullness of the Spirit. She wants to impart to others the truths that God has shared as well as the fire of His all consuming presence. She has had opportunity to sing throughout Aglow’s North Central Region as well as for an internationally broadcast television program. “He does use me to give a word of knowledge as the Holy Spirit directs”.
FRIDAY AFTERNOON
TIME OF REFLECTION
Sue Volkert
I have been married to my husband John for 35 years. We have 6 children, 4 daughters and 2 sons. We are also foster parents and guardians of 2 nephews who came to live with us after their mother passed away. Three of our daughters are married
and we have been blessed with 9 beautiful grandchildren. I have served on the Beaver Dam Community Aglow Team as well as the South Wisconsin Area Team. I have been honored to serve in Aglow as the Wisconsin State Prayer Coordinator since March of 2008. I love to pray God’s word because the power of God is His Word! As intercessors speaking God’s Word, we are prophesying over our lives and the lives of others to bring encouragement and the fulfillment of our destinies in Christ. God’s Word is able to build us up and give us our rightful inheritance among God’s set apart ones. (Acts 20:32)
WORSHIP LEADERS
Carl & Lisa Spangenberg and their daughter Holly. Carl and Lisa Spangenberg have been leading the body of Christ in worship in southeastern Wisconsin for the past 17 years. Their greatest desire is to see the Body of Christ united in the Holy Spirit and exalting Jesus the Lord as their head.
Carl and Lisa bring fresh, dynamic worship to the body of Christ. Their ministry has touched nearly every hue and style found in the worship spectrum, but it has consistently been rooted in a strong prophetic element that God uses to open doors of evelation.
They uphold the whole counsel of the Word of God, look for the return of Christ, worship with passion and zeal, and desire God to manifest His glory supernaturally on the earth.
Carl and Lisa have a 13-year-old daughter, Holly, who joins her parents in leading worship. Her greatest passion is playing violin, which she has done since age 6. Holly is a senior member of the Milwaukee-area Barcel Suzuki String Academy, and is concertmaster of the “Philharmonia” orchestra of the Milwaukee Youth Symphony. She has been homeschooled since 2005.
Carl and Lisa attend a church fellowship in West Bend, WI, called “The Refinery.” Pastored by Dennis Olla, “The Refinery” hosts home meetings, Sunday assemblies, and a monthly 48-hour intercessory worship meeting in which Carl and Lisa have articipated since 2004.
The Spangenbergs reside in Thiensville, Wisconsin.
